SKIMS offers MBBS degree to aspiring Students for which the duration is 4.6 years. The degree also includes internship programme of one year.

The University offers Bachelor’s degree in Science under eight different specializations subjects. All of these programmes are offered with the duration of four years and the intake capacity of these courses is 50 seats each.

For admissions to the Undergraduate courses at SKIMS, Students need to sit for a Common Entrance Test (CET). A relaxation of 10% in aggregate marks is allowed to the Students belonging to reserved category

SKIMS offers Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery degrees under 13 different specialization subjects. Each of the courses is offered for a duration of two years.

Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) PG-Tech/M.Sc Admission 2019

SKIMS provides Postgraduate degree in various fields of Medicine and Medical Technology. The M.Sc degree is offered under 15 different specializations and DMRIT is provided with two specializations.

The duration of M.Sc programme is two years whereas, the duration of DMRIT course is one year.

For admission to M.Sc and DMRIT programmes, the eligible Students shall have to appear in a Written Test which shall be organized by SKIMS (Deemed University).

Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) PG Diploma and DNB Admission 2019

The University also offers Postgraduate Diploma and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) degrees under few specializations.

The duration of PG Diploma courses is one year whereas, DNB programme is provided with a period of three years. Admission to PG Diploma and DNB is done on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination.

Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Ph.D. Admission 2019

SKIMS offers Doctor of Philosophy degree under four different specializations. The duration of Ph.D. programmes is 2-5 years.

To qualify for admission to the Ph.D. Course, a Student must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in written examination and minimum of 50% marks in the combined practical and viva-voce examination and select list shall be framed from amongst the Students who qualify the entrance examination strictly on the basis of merit.

Aspirants shall first register to fill up the form.
